At Dive2Job, we are committed to protecting your personal information and documents. This Privacy Policy details how we handle, parse, and secure your resumes when using our platform.

1. Resume Data Storage & Security

All uploaded resume documents (PDF, DOCX formats) are stored using secure encryption in private buckets on Cloudflare R2 storage. Only authenticated requests originating from your user credentials can access or download these files.

2. Parsing and Text Extraction

When you upload a resume, our parser extracts structural text to identify skills, experience, education, and contact elements. The parsed JSON data is stored securely in our database for matching calculations and history log displays, and is never shared with third parties.

3. AI Policy and Data Privacy

We do not use OpenAI, Gemini, or any external AI APIs. All matching evaluations and category taxonomy resolutions are calculated locally and deterministically. Your career history is never sent to third-party artificial intelligence engines or used to train public language models.

4. Contact Information Indexing

We parse basic contact details (name, email, phone number, location) to evaluate your resume formatting scorecard metrics. You can delete your resume or deactivate your account at any time, which purges all files from Cloudflare R2 and deletes database entries permanently.
